This feature works on iOS 17 and later, and it does not work on iPhone 14 and below Models, but on iPhone 15 and above Models, whenever you enter your iPhone wrong password  enough times it goes unavailable mode, as soon as the phone is in unavailable mode the forget passcode option will appear at the bottom corner of the Phone screen,

Note this option will appear when your phone is connected to an active internet data connection if the phone is not connected to the active network, only the unavailable screen will appear and the forget option will not appear, you have to Tap on forget option, after that you tap start iPhone reset it will then ask you for apple iD password Which is logged in this Phone, as soon you enter your iCloud password, the factory reset Process will start after that your Phone will be reset and you can use it again

This procedure is straightforward

  • First, open iPhone settings
  • Then go to the general settings
  • Here, you have to scroll down and tap on factory reset
  • Tap erase all content and settings

after that put your Apple device  in recovery mode, to boot in Recovery mode if you ave iPhone 7 and below models power off phone press and hold home key and connect phone with PC or Mac and if you have iPone 8 and above then you have to press te volume down and connect  it to a PC or MAC free vol key when phone enter recovery mode, open iTunes and follow the screen if you want to download a file from iTunes, if you have  already downloaded the file you have to cancel all the process, and click restore button on iTunes while holding the shift key on the PC keyboard here a  folder will open and you have to go to the folder where you have saved the file and select the file

How to hard reset an iPhone

First of all, I want to tell you one thing: Android phones’ hard reset and iPhone’s hard reset are different from each other.

whenever you hard reset or Factory Reset an Android Phone, all the data of the phone will be deleted, whereas on an iPhone this is not the case, factory resetting an iPhone not deletes any data, while hard-reset the iPhone restarts the iPhone and not deleting any data, rather, if there is a temporary problem in the Phone, it gets fixed,
