Beta software can be exciting, but it often comes with severe battery drain, app incompatibilities (especially banking apps), and unexpected reboots. If you're tired of the bugs, you might want to downgrade to the stable version.
You can only downgrade to a stable version if Apple is still digitally "signing" it. If Apple stops signing a firmware, no official tool (Finder or iTunes) will allow you to install it. If you happen to have saved your digital signatures while the window was open, you can read how to save SHSH blobs for future iOS downgrades, but for 99% of users, you are restricted to the currently signed stable release.
Backups made on a newer iOS beta cannot be restored to an older iOS stable version. If you made an iCloud or Mac backup before installing the beta, you are safe. If you only have a backup from the beta, you will have to set up your device as new after the downgrade, though data synced to iCloud (Photos, Contacts, Notes) will still return.
